Suzanne has worked in the Entertainment and CPG industries for over 20 years with a proven track record of building power-house brands such as Peppa Pig and Thomas & Friends, and developing consumer insights and new product innovations that drive growth to the next level. Suzanne started Blue Sky Entertainment in 2015 as a boutique marketing consulting firm focused on creating tie-in promotional partnerships as well as strategic marketing growth programs for small, medium and large sized companies, specializing in the Kids Entertainment space.
Prior to starting Blue Sky, Suzanne spent several years honing her brand building skills at Kellogg’s and then nearly 16 years leading the Family DVD Home Entertainment Marketing divisions at both Starz Home Entertainment(aka Anchor Bay Entertainment) and Entertainment One, propelling the growth of each of these business units over 7-fold. While at Anchor Bay Entertainment, Suzanne created the hugely successful Thomas DVD with Toy Train combo pack which broke double digit sales records yearly for the next decade and was the first of its kind in the “Gift with Purchase” DVD segment.
At both EOne and Anchor Bay Entertainment, Suzanne managed the overall marketing and retail efforts for the consumer Home Video releases for many top media franchises such as Peppa Pig and Thomas & Friends and was an integral force in launching Peppa in the US. She has also collaborated with world renowned talent such as Harry Connick Jr., Fred Rogers co., Liza Minnelli, and more. Day to day responsibilities included managing the overall business strategy, Kids content acquisitions, consumer and retail media planning, tie-in partnership development, new release launch events, P&L management, creative and execution of all packaging and marketing materials (TV spots, trailers and digital and print media), as well as managing the day-to-day Licensee, Licensor, vendor and filmmaker relationships.
